Hey everyone! How was everyone's New Year's? Full of excitement? Isn't that what the countdown to New Year's is all about? Well my New Year's was good...spent it at home with family. Not so exciting but I enjoyed myself, I think we all did.

Anyway, I just wanted to start off the New Year with a post of icons strictly about Julie Pinson (Billie Reed on DAYS). Earlier this week I sadly learned that the executives at the show have decided to write Julie and Billie out of the canvas. I'm extremely upset to say the least. I absolutely adore Billie. She's my all time favorite soap character. And I've loved every actress that has portrayed her (Lisa Rinna, Krista Allen, and now Julie Pinson). I must admit that I haven't been watching DAYS as much as I once have mainly because they shoved Julie's character to the background. They've decided to put Julie's talent to waste. She's such an amazing actress and they just put her on the shelf without a good storyline. There are plenty of other characters on the show that should be written out of the show instead of Billie and Julie but I won't get into all of that. Well whatever, what's done is done. All I know is that I'm gonna miss Billie and Julie on DAYS. Julie's done my favorite character justice beyond itself and I'm thankful for that. I wish Julie the best of luck in her future endeavors. She'll be more than great! She has a fan in me forever.

thanks for the icons. I was hoping it would be okay for me to use them since I play billie in a rpg game here on LJ. I'll give you full credit, of course.

Billie has always been my favorite character as well and I feel like my heart has been ripped out upon hearing this news. How did you hear? :-(

Yeah, I feel the exact same way when she left the first 3 times. It's like my heart has been ripped out all over again. :(

I actually heard from soapcentral.com and I didn't want to believe it but nearly all of the information that they post is true. And still I wanted to look more into it just in case it was some type of sick rumor so I went to Julie's website julie-pinson.com and they confirmed the terrible news. :-(

Hey Juicy,

I am also very saddened by Julie's departure from "Days". I have been a fan of her's for 10 yrs and "Days" for 32 yrs. I was schocked by the news when i read it on January 2nd....what a crappy way to start off a new year! I was reading the comments on Julie Pinson Online, as i also posted a note there. That is how i linked to your page here. Wow the pic's are beautiful....i was so schocked when i saw my picture #28 there in your collection.....wow....i'm glad you liked it and included in your collection of icons. That is a picture that Julie posed for me on the 1st Annual Soap Cruise...thanks for including it! She is such an awesome and warm and compassionate woman!
When Julie/Bille depart "Days" so am i....i am so disgusted by them not using such a talented lady as Julie more....and wasting her talents. I am looking forward to seeing more of Julie soon....
Thanks from all of us Julie fans for such a lovely dedication to her...the best is yet to come!

I'm definitely with you, once Julie's gone...so am I. DAYS is tanking and they'll be losing me as a viewer once Julie's gone.

Thank you for the picture BTW. Julie was simply gorgeous (as she is in all of her pictures) and I needed to use it as a part of this dedication. But I will definitely have more in store!

These are really good too. I agree. I love her as Billi too!!!Though maybe she'll come back since they seem to keep firering(sp) and brinking back people. Like Lexie!!!!

Yeah I heard, it's crazy. I have no idea why they would write off main characters like that. There are plenty of other people that should be written out but they're choosing to chop off extremely important characters. SMH.

I think so too!!!I haven't gotten quite use to the new Sean, but he is a good actor. I like Belle though!!!I don't understand at all. I need to start writing again. I did for John and that seemed to work!
